How Magnolia & Brass Began
A lifelong love of objects with history, and the shop that grew from it.
Where it started
Long before Magnolia & Brass had a name, it was just a habit — stopping at every estate sale, lingering too long at flea markets, bringing home things that felt too good to leave behind. The thrill was never really about owning them. It was about the moment of recognition: this piece has a story.
Growing up, I was surrounded by objects that had been passed down, repaired, and loved across generations. A brass candlestick that had sat on my grandmother's mantle. A coat with a tailor's label from a city I'd never visited. These things taught me that beauty doesn't diminish with age — it deepens.
Magnolia & Brass started as a way to share that feeling. What began as a table at a local market became a carefully curated collection, and eventually a shop with a name and a point of view: that the right vintage piece doesn't just fill a space — it completes it.
How we source
Every piece in the shop has been chosen by hand. We travel to estate sales, private collections, and regional markets looking for things that have aged with character — clothing with beautiful construction, objects with patina that can't be faked, curiosities that make you stop and look twice. We don't chase trends. We look for pieces that feel timeless, and bring them to people who will appreciate them.
